What is BRCA?

The BRCA gene test identifies genetic mutations in either one of the two breast cancer susceptibility genes known as BRCA1 and BRCA2. A mutation in either of these genes leads to an increased risk of developing breast cancer. Taking this simple test helps identify cancer in early stages which can be life saving.

Why take the test?

According to the National Breast Cancer association 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
A woman with a harmful mutation in BRCA1 or BRCA2 is about five times more likely to develop breast cancer than a woman who does not have such a mutation.

How do we help?

Our free questionnaire consolidates the complex genetic screening guidelines which are currently scattered and difficult to interpret. Based on our preliminary recommendations, at-risk patients can get tested before cancer develops or at early stages while intervention is still possible.
